How to share your IP for LAN games
"Okay, join one-nine-two dot one-six-eight dot..." — every LAN party knows this ritual, and every LAN party fumbles it. FriendlyIP replaces the digits with a six-character code: encode your address, read out something like 99srAS, and your friends decode it back on their end.
Codes are deterministic — the same IP always makes the same code, and decoding needs no server round-trip, so it works even when the game room's internet doesn't. The free offline API means launchers and tools can embed the same trick.
Works for private LAN addresses and public ones alike: Minecraft servers, fighting-game lobbies, retro LAN stacks, or the router admin page you're shouting across the room.
